Alyssa Delaney was born and raised in Brooklyn, New York. She earned a Master’s Degree in Education and holds teaching credentials in both New York and California. She has taught in public and private schools and has had her own tutoring business for the past 17 years. She tutors all ages and abilities in most subject areas.
Alyssa lives in Santa Clara with her husband of 17 years. She serves as Children’s Coordinator of Education at her church, where she oversees the Sunday school, Vacation Bible School, and other children’s activities. She also writes and directs church wide plays. She loves to read, knit, hike, and travel. She has traveled to 20 countries and 48 states—so far.
A favorite Bible verse of hers:

Finally, brothers and sisters, whatever is true, whatever is noble, whatever is right, whatever is pure, whatever is lovely, whatever is admirable—if anything is excellent or praiseworthy—think about such things.
